This antenna is a long folding blade gooseneck whip antenna developed and manufactured by PRN Precision Industry.
It supports a maximum transmit power of up to 15 watts and is compatible with all PRC-152, PRC-163, PRC-148 and similar radios available on the market.
All structural details and features of this antenna are faithfully reproduced in a 1:1 configuration based on the original design.
The encapsulation and sealing process is identical to the original product. The antenna base is also side-marked with the HARRIS logo and model identification code, matching the original appearance.
The internal antenna structure follows the same design as the original HARRIS antenna.
Frequency Range:
30–512 MHz
The antenna provides good VSWR performance within the 136–174 MHz (VHF) and 400–512 MHz (UHF) frequency ranges.
This RF antenna base can also be used as a replacement for the original TCA 10-watt antenna.
When a TCA-152 radio is upgraded to a 12.6V battery, using this antenna allows the radio to achieve up to 15 watts of transmit output power.
